Meet Your Midwives

Midwife: the hands of a lady, eyes of a hawk, heart of a lion

Kerry Pham, ARNP, CNM

kerry-circleAs a little girl mothering her Cabbage Patch dolls, Kerry became fascinated by motherhood. As a teenager, she grew entranced with the strong bond between mothers and their babies. Later, while in high school, she had the opportunity to work with the elderly and found that many who could not even recall their last meal were able to recount their birth experiences in vivid detail. Impressed by how profound birth experiences could be, Kerry became determined to be an advocate for mothers and to help them have the birth they always dreamed of.

After serving in the Marine Corps as a teenager, Kerry began a career in healthcare and became an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)/Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a kerry-personality3-copyMaster of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Life Support (ACLS). She completed her midwifery training at Florida Hospital in Orlando and Shands in Gainesville and has over a decade of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, and Postpartum.

In 2016, along with Tina Babinski, she co-founded Stand & Deliver! to provide midwifery and well-woman care to women in the Pensacola and Northwest Florida area. She recognizes that the ideal birth is different for every woman and goes out of her way to make sure every woman who comes to her has the support and qualified care to achieve that in her own unique way.

Kerry is married to Keith and is the mother of five children, three of whom she delivered at home and four of whom were water births. She enjoys swimming, parasailing, shopping, traveling, & Disney cruises.

Tina Babinski, ARNP, CNM

tina-circle-copyFrom a young age, Tina was interested in birthing and midwifery. She has always marveled at how a woman’s body can form and bring a perfect little life into the world. She decided to go into nursing with the end goal of becoming a nurse midwife. However, what she found to be commonplace among hospital births concerned her. The disregard for mothers’ choices and the frequent interventions often resulted in less-than-ideal birth stories. She is passionate about informed consent and shared decision-making when caring for women during pregnancy and birth.

Tina acquired the training and experience to offer mothers the safe and qualified care options they deserved. She became an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)/Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from thetinas-personality2-copy University of South Alabama and a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Life Support (ACLS). In 2016, along with Kerry Pham, she co-founded Stand & Deliver! to provide midwifery and well-woman care to teens and women in the Pensacola and Northwest Florida area. Her mission in life is to form lasting relationships with families and advocate for mothers who want to have a natural birth free of fear and doubt.

Tina is married and is the mother of four children. She enjoys reading, Disney World, and Pinterest.
